24th October 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 30-35 knots Surf / Sea State: 3-4 foot surf Air Temperature: 12ºC Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells and squally showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: The first real autumnal low and what a session. I couldn't be bothered to drive all the way to Aberdovey for a session on flat water so went out from home in the waves instead. Glad I did as it was perfect. Well power and at times overpowered with my 4.5m rigged as flat as possible. Perfect conditions for my little JP wave board and the waves just kept getting bigger and bigger. Some nice big jumps, some good wave rides and loads of blasting about and dodging walls of white-water. |
